I was reborn with no memory of my previous life and no powers, save for transforming into an aberration most wish eliminated.
Among the few who do not wish me dead are my grandmother—the Shabbin Queen—Fallon and her mate Lorcan—the rulers of Luce—and Cathal Báeinach—Fallon’s father and my self-appointed ball and chain.
Despite my best efforts, I cannot understand why the Crow King’s boorish general has decided to guard 𝘮𝘦, a woman he can barely look at without shuddering. I may lack education and be physically repulsive, but do I deserve such scorn? More importantly, though, if he cannot stand me, then why stay?
When I suggest he leave, he reminds me that he is one of the most lethal males in the realm. And while he may be that, he is also one of the most infuriating. A male who makes my blood run hot with equal measure irritation and lust.
Why must I be drawn to the brute who loathes me?
And why, when I forge a magical mind link to another male, must I keep hungering for the Crow who—𝘧𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺—left?

My thoughts:
House of Shifting Tides is the fourth book of The Kingdom of Crows series by the wonderful Olivia Wildenstein🥰❤️
We continue our journey of unraveling the curse, hard decisions about whom you can trust and is telling the truth, and finding your soulmate in the process.
This time we are witnessing the story through Zendaya and Cathal's POV, but I was happy that Fallon, Lore and most of our favorite characters have a presence too, which makes it all the more grand and sweet 🥰❤️ Ever since reading the novella House of Rising Sands I was dying to see their story and witness their chemistry again.
It was fascinating to see Zendaya's path to finding herself, her place in this new world she was thrown after the end of book 3. Like a baby fawn on shaky legs, she learns things anew, all the while embroiled in the curse solving and her strange and raging feelings towards Cathal.
I have to admit I always saw Cathal as more intimidating and dangerous than Lore 😂🙈(sorry Lore, I love you but in my eyes, Cathal wins 😂😂😂) and his grumpy scowling attitude was the perfect mix with his love and care, so you can't help but love his character🥰❤️
I love this world, and I was so happy that I get to enjoy more of it🥰🥰🥰
