Blurb:

Free the crows, Fallon, and they will make you queen.

Until an oracle predicted my regal future, I’d never imagined myself rising above the curve of my round ears. After all, I was the magicless halfling loved by beasts but loathed by every pure-blooded faerie at court. Well . . . by all but one.

Dante Regio, prince of Luce, had owned my heart since he gave me my first kiss. If gathering a slew of iron relics could help me overthrow the current monarch and crown his brother to rule at my side, then treasure hunting I’d go.

If only the oracle had warned me what winged demon I was releasing into the world.

And that I’d become this demon’s obsession.

Fans of Sarah J. Maas and Mary E. Pearson will devour this epic fantasy romance full of deceit, betrayal, and false loves that could swallow a person whole.

My thoughts:

Fae, magic, romance.....need I say more?

I was hooked from the first chapter of this new series.

The life of our female lead character Fallon hasn't been easy for her as a half blood fae.

On a daily basis, she is forced to face many injustices and prejudice towards her and her family.

And yet, she remains caring, with a warm heart and leaning on the people she loves.

Having the prince of Luce at her side as a friend and a love interest is also one of the things that warms her heart.

So, when one day a strange oracle tells her to gather some special iron relics, and she'll become a queen, she can't resist the opportunity to remove the barriers preventing her from being officially with prince Dante Regio.

Not a single clue how she is supposed to do this, and only confusion and more questions coming her way. The only thing that became clear was that nothing is as simple as it seemed, and the result of her actions are not at all what she expected.

The mystery is on point and the love triangle…or should I hint a potential quadrangle (one can hope for it in book 2🤣🙈) is absolute fire and Lore is such an addictive character that you hold your breath when you get to parts of the book with him.

Just sitting here and waiting for more of him in House Of Pounding Hearts!
