Blurb:

My twin sister is the true queen of Aryd. She survives, hiding and clinging to life in the desert, while I reign as the false queen alongside the monstrous King Eidolon. There’s only one escape from this gilded prison: Reven. My Shadowraith. My heart. Only the shadows that he struggles to control are growing more sinister, more powerful.

It’s just a matter of time before they turn on him…and on me.

Even escape doesn’t mean true freedom, though, when we’re still on the run from Eidolon’s unstoppable armies. And when we discover there’s a traitor among us, I have no choice…I must become the queen I was never meant to be.

Because as one evil hunts me, the other loves me more than himself.

And my fate lies with both.

The Dominions series is best enjoyed in order.

Reading Order:

Book #1 The Liar’s Crown

Book #2 The Stolen Throne

Book #3 The Shadow Rule All

My thoughts:

Safe to say that i loved and devoured The Liar's Crown in one breath.

The Stolen Throne is the second book from the Dominions trilogy by Abigail Owen, and it's more addictive, thrilling and emotional from the first!

The story continues right where we left, gasping in surprise and heartache in the final chapter of The Liar's Crown.

It wasn't easy for our beloved Shadowraith to steal the queen….and ironically, now he has to do it again…but with much higher stakes at play because he has to save the girl he fell in love with.

All of our beloved characters from book 1 are in full swing, and together they have to find a way to save Meren from Eidolon's grasp, find out what is happening to her sister Tabra, keep an eye on Reven and his shadows that are growing more violent by the day….and the cherry on top they have to find a way to defeat Eidolon and save not only their kingdom but all others too.

So many dangerous adventures, new allies and wonderful twist and turns you won't see coming.

And I didn't know a heart can break and mend so many times in a span of a one book! The relationship between Reven and Meren is leaving breathing thing like his shadows that grips you by the heart and doesn't let go during the whole ride!

I'm counting the days, no the hours until the release of the third book, The Shadows Rule All, so I can dive back into this breathtaking story again!
